Paraná Wood is a business ecosystem aimed at the regional development, bed on Green Economy, seeking a low carbon footprint, efficiency in the use of resources, and social inclusion, connecting Nature, Sustainability, and Businesses in all its practices, processes and domestic and foreign relationships.

For 60 years, the Garcia de Faria family develops the agriculture and cattle farming in the region of São Jerônimo da Serra, in the North of the Paraná State. The Paraná Wood Group is currently a global model of efficiency and profitability.

It has integrated and sustainable processes, verticalization and horizontalization at the base of its development, from forest to lumbering; from cattle farming, in breading, re-breeding and fattening to the silviculture system; from agriculture to food processing, with soybean, maze and wheat. 

Based on result-oriented operating principles, adding value to the region’s products, it creates an efficient, productive chain in continuous partnership with rural producers, cooperatives, suppliers and clients. 

With an impressive growth from its very first forest – after being Klabin S.A.’s partner for fourteen years – the Paraná Wood Group is an example of technology, productivity and entrepreneurism.

João Luiz Garcia de Faria
With the processes learned during his solid medical career, he invested in the operationalization and verticalization of the activities to promote the development of his childhood region. 

He returned to his land to create the Paraná Wood Group from a farm inherited from his father.

Douglas Mendes
Started working with forests at a very young age, where he developed forestry handling processes at excellence levels.

Dalço dos Santos
A whole life dedicated to agriculture and cattle farming, he holds a deep knowledge in the field and its intricacies.

Ana Marta Garcia de Faria Cavalcante
Answering for the administrative-financial areas of the company, bringing maximum efficiency to the processes.

Luis Henrique Aguilera Turrissi
Veterinary responsible for the genetic selection of the cattle and application of state-of-the-art handling techniques.

In Paraná Wood Group’s several units, the operating team is formed by people from the region, duly trained to be creative, responsive, proactive and diligent. The greatest resource any company can have. The Group generates 90 direct and 49 indirect jobs.
