The department is responsible for the storing approximately 1.7 billion tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2eq), in addition to generating and holding carbon reserves in the amount of 2.48 billion tons (IBÁ).
From the initial 200-hectare area, Paraná Wood Florestal currently has 1,460 hectares of own forest, with planting, management and technology used in a customized manner in each plot. Mechanized harvesting, cutting, removal and transportation to the logging company, with its own team, guarantees a self-sustainable production.
The forests at Paraná Wood receive the genetic variety Eucalyptus urugrandis, which results in log volume, with clonal eucalyptus seedlings provided from Eucapinus. A successful partnership to guarantee the quality of the products.
